John. Well done. I don’t restack much because I’m still new to Substack. But I will spread this word as widely as I can. Oh, also looking up your books.
I have no spoons for doing a lot. As such, I tend to ignore everything in the world except for raising my kids and writing, so I didn't notice. Couldn't have helped, except for cheerleading on the side.
Thank you for writing this and going through all the way with your case. I remember reading a bit about it in the comments of Ringo's Tavern. It's good to read it all. Blessings, and I'll be checking out your books.
I don't know if I'd care for that, personally. I do however wish that a lot of folks in the industry weren't trying to bury my association with it, so that THEY could take credit instead.
You are a freaking superhero, John. Well done. May you reap abundant rewards.

The random coincidence factors for me feel like significance:
1) I contributed to your gofundme, twice I think and followed the updates.
2) Today is the first time I visited your substack and found this fresh post, of something that happened years ago.
3) December 17 is my mother's birthday. She just turned 84.

That said.
Now that I know...thank you. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for doing this.
As a newbie writer, I totally appreciate the sacrifice you made and what you accomplished.
Well I, for one, greatly appreciate what you accomplished, and admire your perseverance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I know this sounds kind of meta, but damn, this sounds like it needs to be a book! Or at least a documentary.
I don't know if I'd care for that, personally. I do however wish that a lot of folks in the industry weren't trying to bury my association with it, so that THEY could take credit instead.
Eh. Kind of hard to do since your name is all over the case. Stry v. Numbnuts or whatever his name is.
They don't even mention the case.
