Okay, I received the email below just a little while ago. Look it over and then I’ll tell you (those that don’t know) what’s ‘wrong’ with this:
Okay, yes - that’s Toni. I know her, because:
She’s the one who bought and published Summer’s End.
That’s right, some yahoo who can’t even be bothered to check who the publisher is, sent AI spam mail, to me, pretending to be interested in a book, that was published by the very person they’re pretending to be.
(Oh, notice the email ‘beanbookpub’ at gmail, they spelled Baen wrong, and Baen has its own email server).
Yes, I already forwarded it to Toni.
What’s funny is I just started to write the third book in the Seasons of Change series, which is what Summer’s End is now the first book of.
In a perfect world scammers who steal your precious time should be flogged or composted.
Bean is the worst. (Insert cheap pay scale joke here)
